The Cover Drive Cabernet Sauvignon, first released in 2001, has been inspired by the great cricketing history of this vineyard. The wines consistently show great line and length. The nose leads with aromas of fresh tobacco leaf, cassis, boysenberry and spice. A silk like entry on the palate with super fine, detailed tannin, ripe berried fruits, a hint of tobacco and the classic brambles of Clare Cabernet to finish.

Vibrant aromatics of purple fruited compote, spice and purple florals on the nose. The palate is dominated by dark fruits and brambles, spice and a hint of warming oak, with a seamless flow and integrated tannin.

Attractive zingy fragrance attracts with typical racy green capsicum on the nose and greets you with aromas of lemon and lime and floral notes of white flowers. Refreshing flavours of lime zest, grapefruit and the whole spectrum of citrus fruits. It is punchy and fabulously crisp with a lengthy bright finish.
