RUA wines are crafted for everyday enjoyment, embodying the essence of celebration. The name pays tribute to the first two grape varieties planted in Akarua's original Central Otago vineyard - Chardonnay and Pinot Noir. This Central Otago Chardonnay is bold and balanced, think bright lemon curd and ripe nectarine, layered with a soft pastry warmth that adds a touch of richness. Crafted from hand-picked fruit and matured in neutral oak, the palate is smooth and generous with juicy stone fruit, lifted by fresh citrus and finishing with a subtle hint of toasted almond.

Free spirit in a bottle - SAINT X captures the free and authentic spirit of the Mediterranean. On the palate, this Rosé is refreshingly crisp and lively. The Grenache imparts a juicy, red-fruited core with flavors of ripe cherries and red currants. Syrah contributes a gentle spiciness, with notes of white pepper and a touch of lavender. Cinsault brings a delicate, silky texture, along with flavors of pink grapefruit and a hint of tart cranberry. A small but important addition of Viognier and Rolle complete the wine with some floral aromas of white blossoms and hints of apricots. A perfect balance of freshness, precision and spontaneity.

Light golden in color with aromas of fresh apples, citrus and nectarine. The palate is rich yet crisp, with flavors of apricot, baked peaches, lemon and vanilla. Undertones of crème brûlée and toast are met with balanced acidity and a smooth finish.
