Rapaura Springs Reserve wines are expertly crafted from selected vineyards with impressive flavour concentration and palate weight. Reserve wines define their region. Succulent ripe flavours of passionfruit, tropical fruit, and black currant are balanced with crisp acidity and a distinct salty minerality that combine to create a mouth-watering finish.

The word 'ROHE' means territory. The Rapaura sub-region is one of the oldest and most recognised sub-regions of Marlborough, formed on the floodplain of the Wairau River. Rapaura Springs vineyards are located in the eastern part of Rapaura, with deep, even, fertile soils which grow strong vine. Vibrant aromas of black and white currant follow through to the palate with a layer of stone fruit and refreshing acidity. This wine is immediately appealing but will continue to evolve over the next five years.

On the picturesque Gibbston Back Road you will find our Pinot Gris Vineyard. Grapes were hand harvested early morning and fermented in small batches. This youthful pinot gris is then subtlety aged in older French oak, thus adding additional layers of texture and weight to the palate and enhancing those exceptional aromatics and flavours. On the nose you'll find aromas of ripe peach, nectarine, and Nashi pear with a vibrant luscious palate and long, zesty finish. Complements rich or light seafood meals and most spiced cuisine, very versatile.

It all started with a kiss! A Stolen Kiss Rosé back in 2006, when winemaker Malcolm Rees-Francis 'stole' some Pinot Noir grapes that were destined for Rockburn's flagship Central Otago Pinot Noir and turned them into one of the country's first premium Rosé wines.
