Nineteen crimes turned convicts into colonists. Upon conviction British rogues guilty of a least one of the 19 crimes were sentenced to live in Australia, rather than death. As pioneers in a frontier penal colony, they forged a new country and new lives, brick by brick. This wine celebrates the rules they broke and the culture they built.

Criminally easy wine to drink: Light bodied, fresh & crisp with lifted aromas of passionfruit, grapefruit, gooseberry and guava.

Golden, straw colour. Partial malolactic fermentation and weekly lees stirring creates a wine that is both vibrant and textural. Full, dry with sweet peach, nectarine, citrus and biscotti with a lingering stone fruit finish.

Rich with layers of white nectarine, lime and gooseberry. A fine mineral acidity leads to a lingering flinty finish.

Many of the vineyards he developed have gone on to win global recognition. In 1985, Allan bought land in the Rapaura district of Marlborough. This was to become the home of the family wine making venture.

This elegant salmon pink Rosé immediately presents luscious strawberries and cream on the nose. Ripe bright berry fruit, meet with white peach stone fruit on the palate with a dry, medium-dry finish and clean refreshing acidity.

Pale salmon pink, classic Pinot Noir rosé colour. Lifted floral nose, rosewater and strawberry fruit. The palate mixes crunchy red delicious apple, ripe raspberry and cream before finishing dry.

A bright and expressive nose with notes of white peach, passionfruit and pineapple. The palate bursts with citrus, lime and a hint of blackcurrant leaf. The mouthfeel is electric and lively with a long dry finish.

White peach, citrus and melon flavours combine with savoury oak on the nose. On the palate the wine has a pleasing texture and good length with a clean finish.
