Vibrant, fresh and layered with charisma, this partial whole bunch ferment Syrah bounces with blueberry, rose, cherry, red peppercorn and earthy spice. The palate is both intense and delicate, has lovely body, with supple juicy fruit and spice paving the way to great textural mouth feel and well-founded tannin structure.

The first layer of aromas is highlighted with black forest fruits, predominantly blackberries and wild berries. Soon after the toasted notes of the barreling reveal a greater complexity, complemented with spiced notes, principally of pepper. On the palate, the tannins are firm from the outset and the fruit is mature.

Rich plum and berry fruit is lifted by fragrant spice, violet and liquorice aromas. The palate is medium weight and supple with a long finish.

Frontera Shiraz is a full-bodied, big red with bold fruit and a touch of vanilla.

The vines originate from a Heritage clone of Syrah brought to New Zealand around 150 years ago. Produced from the gravelly soils of the Gimblett Gravels, this distinct Syrah shows an aromatic lift of floral and pepper aromatics with lushness and elegance on the palate. Deep red with a purple hue. Tremendous aromatic lift, with lavender and sweet cherries rising from the glass. The palate has significant density but a perfect balance that already encourages drinking.

Aromas of dark berry and satsuma plum cleverly supported with spicy mocha, liquorice, vanilla, and pepper. The aromas are mirrored by the flavours on the palate with dark chocolate undertones and silky tannins in the background.

Gorgeously fruited and perfumed with Black Doris plum, spiced cherry, dark olive and smoked game nuances, it's succulent and supple in the mouth delivering excellent fruit purity and silky flow. Finely textured and lingering with a delightfully elegant finish.

Aromas of blackberry fruits and plums. Full sweet fruit flavours with a hint of vanilla and pepper notes. The finish is medium with well-rounded tannins.

Flavours of dark chocolate, plum and blackcurrant which are all encased by generous fruit tannins.

A full bodied South Australian Shiraz, with velvety smooth tannins. Smoky aromas, showcasing dark fruit flavours, with a subtle influence of oak. Perfectly balanced and clean on the palate.
