A fragrant nose of fresh blueberries, a little vanillin, mixed spice, cedar and a floral hint of perfumed violets. The palate is approachable, graceful palate of mulberry and blueberry compote. Up front, juicy flesh of plum with underlying notes of chocolate coated coffee beans, mint, black pepper, and a hint of earthy truffles. A solid backbone of supporting acidity extends these characters towards the finish.

Pepper & spice - because the light oak touch has imparted the delicious bright berry fruit flavours with subtle notes of peppercorn, nutmeg and clove.

The wine is black/purple in colour, the nose displays subtle vanilla/cedar oak, mulberry, chocolate, spice and Satsuma Plum. This powerful Shiraz shows distinctive regional characters of dark chocolate, black prunes, pepper, licorice and spicy cedary oak on the palate, with ripe loganberry fruit and oak perfectly integrated.

Deep purple red with primary aromas of blackberry and mulberry. Flavours are enhanced with hints of spice, chocolate and roasted nuts. The full-bodied palate is filled with ripe blackberry fruit and defined by chewy fruit tannins.

A soft and gently rounded palate with ample rich fruits smoothly laced with bucolic tannins and framed by a keen keel of stirring acidity. Plums and blackberries return along with hints of milk chocolate. The giving blackberry and plum fruit is perfectly counter-weighted by the strangely reassuring gruffness of the tannins.

A brooding mix of dark and blue fruits. Black cherries, plums and perfumed fruit mince. A good measure of spice, with earthy and chocolate undertones. balanced, even and supple. Morello cherries, earth and spice fill the mouth. The wine is bold and generous, without being heavy. Velvety tannins with a light cherry-chocolate finish.

The wine has a wonderful aroma displaying dark plum, redcurrant and red cherry fruits along with subtle chocolate and a touch of oak derived spice. The palate is plump & generous with ripe fruit characters of plum, cherry and redcurrant. Mocha coffee and subtle aniseed characters are also present along with vanillan oak to balance the fruit flavours. The wine is medium-bodied with a soft mid-palate & pleasing tannin structure. It is a well balanced wine with great texture, good length and enjoyable fruit flavours on the finish.

The luscious elegance of the Clare Valley fruit marries superbly with the slightly peppery fruit from McLaren Vale.
