Marlborough Pinot Noir is making a name for its luscious textures, red berry aromatics, and complex, rewarding wines. Sourcing our Pinot Noir fruit from the finest vineyards in the Southern Valley sub-region, this wine is sophisticated, intriguing, and is the perfect accompaniment to BQ meats, nutty cheese, and mushroom dishes.

This Pinot Noir captures the pure character of the variety with bright, juicy red fruit and subtle spicy, savoury notes. The bouquet reveals boysenberry, ripe cherry, thyme and toasted nut, leading into a medium-bodied palate of sweet plum, tart cherry and wild herbs. Soft, velvety tannins and well-integrated French oak add gentle structure, while a touch of chocolate and lingering spice bring a satisfying finish.

It has aromas and flavours suggestive of blackberries, raspberries, purple plums, vanilla pod, cigar-box and liquorice. On the palate there is a dense core of bright, ripe, mouth-filling fruit which is supported by an ample tannins.

The palate is generously full and fruity with plush velvety tannins that lead on to a lingering tangy aftertaste. While ready to drink on release we expect this wine to improve for several years and live for well over a decade with careful cellaring.

Upon release the wine is bright ruby in colour. There is a teasing array of vibrant red fruit on the nose including raspberry, pomegranate, cherry and plum. Spice and herbal notes, as well as a savoury underlay, add to the wine's complexity. While the palate has generous fruit weight and velvety tannins, it is balanced with refreshing acidity and a structure that gives the wine classic North Canterbury tension and pinosity.

Since its inaugural 1962 vintage, Penfolds Bin 128 Coonawarra Shiraz has showcased the elegance and character of one of Australia's finest cool-climate wine regions. Sourced exclusively from Coonawarra's famed terra rossa soils over limestone and matured in French oak hogsheads, it offers a striking contrast to the richer, warmer-climate Shiraz styles for which Penfolds is equally renowned. The 2021 vintage reveals lifted aromas of blue fruits, violets and cracked black pepper unfold alongside mulberry, boysenberry and subtle baking spice, while savoury hints of paprika and cured meats add complexity. The medium-bodied palate is finely structured, balancing dark berry fruit with olives, spice and a seamless line of acidity. Silky tannins carry the wine to a long, poised finish, creating a cool-climate Shiraz that is immensely rewarding now and destined to evolve beautifully through to 2038.

Since its first release in 1959, Penfolds Bin 28 has celebrated the richness of warm-climate Australian Shiraz. Originally sourced from the renowned Kalimna Vineyard in the Barossa Valley, it has evolved into a multi-region blend, with Barossa fruit continuing to form the heart of its bold, generous character. The 2022 vintage opens with layers of dark berries, black plum and liquorice, complemented by hints of milk chocolate, baking spices and savoury herbs. A plush palate of ripe black fruit is framed by subtle oak, lively acidity and fine tannins, creating depth, balance and an effortless drinkability. Rich yet approachable, it finishes long and poised, making it an excellent choice to enjoy now or cellar through to 2045.

Inspired by the iconic Bin 707, Penfolds Bin 407 was created to showcase the character of exceptional Cabernet Sauvignon, bringing together ripe fruit, structure and carefully integrated French and American oak. The 2022 vintage opens with an intriguing mix of graphite, pencil shavings and crème de cassis, layered with wild herbs, violets and sweet spice. Rich and expansive on the palate, lush blackcurrant takes centre stage, supported by balanced tannins, fresh acidity and well-integrated oak. A subtle note of sarsaparilla adds an unexpected twist to the lingering finish, making this a compelling Cabernet with the structure to reward cellaring through to 2040.
