A hallucinatory, mind-bending, consciousness-expanding, dream-like experience is not what you'll find in this can. It's just a beer, man. But, this cloudy IPA does have a gnarly hit of Riwaka, Simcoe, and Mosaic hops, with a tropical citrus flavour, and a totally piney finish. At least it's a trip for your taste-buds. Far out.

Just make sure you keep it somewhere cold - this isn't actually a real fridge.

The Orange Roughy's scientific name is Hoplostethus atlanticus. Which roughly translates as, hazy, hoppy pale ale with a tropical fruit aroma, citrus flavour, and malty backbone. In the past, the roughy has been subject to unsustainable practices - completely selling out. Thanks to the hard work of our brewers, numbers are now on the rise. Careful you don't exceed your quota, though.

Dunedin born & brewed.

As a young man, Richard Emerson was a huge fan of the Dunedin Sound. Being deaf, he couldn't hear the music, but he could feel it. From the jangling guitars reverberating through the speakers, to the buzz reverberating through the gigs. This beer is a tribute to The Sound, made with NZ hops for a bold local flavour, that will reverberate around your taste buds.

There's no better place to cold brew an IPA, than Dunedin. Snow Day was fermented at a chillier than usual temperatures, to make it taste extra crisp and clean. It may have a lagery mouthfeel, but make no mistake, the flavour is all IPA. Mosaic, Idaho 7, Nectron and Citra hops all come to the fore in this tasty brew.

Officially, this is a Mexican-style lager. But you could think of it as a Dunedin Cerveza. A very refreshing beer from a city that could hardly be further south of the border. It's crisp, with a malty backbone, subtle hop flavours, and just a hint of citrus but feel free to add a fresh slice of your own. Now you know what they've always known down there: nothing beats an ice-cold Sunny Day.

If you've been mowing your super-long lawn, running super-fast, or out in the super-hot sun, you'll need to super-quench your super-thirst. This Pacific Pilsner has been dry-hopped with NZ and US hops to make it super-tasty, while it's light body and crisp finish make it super-refreshing. At just 4% ABV, and 40% lower in carbs, you can feel slightly-smug, too.

It turns out, Hunterville is a pretty funky place. Home to the first-ever commercial brewer's yeast isolated from the New Zealand wilderness, that goes by the name of Wilding. A funky, fruity farmhouse ale, with a hint of spice, light malt, and a subtle hoppy finish. Froth Technologies approached us asking if we wanted to be involved in this project and we jumped at the opportunity to be the first brewery to use this new, native, commercial beer yeast isolate. This yeast was captured with an air trap on the banks of the Rangitikei River.

A Low Carb beer that just isn't about being low carb, it is about the flavour. It is a Low Carb Pale Ale that has the incredible hop aroma and hop flavour you expect from a typical Epic beer. Luke Nicholas owner/founder of Epic Brewing Company says 'we were shocked when reading that Low Carb beer sales were greater than the total Craft Beer market in New Zealand. On hearing this I could feel the pain of a great number of drinkers who were drinking low carb, but at the cost of a really delicious beer. It was time to help them out, as we did back in 2005 when we helped the whole of the New Zealand beer market with the wonderfully dry hopped Epic Pale Ale'.

After the massive success of Blue Low Carb Pale Ale Epic now have a Hazy joining their low carb family. Crush is a fresh and fruity hazy pale ale with full flavour and 75% less carbs than their Joose Party Hazy Pale Ale.

Hop Dragon - after the success of Epic's fresh hop beer Hop Gator last year they thought "how do we make this bigger and better". What is a flying Gator they thought, because they fly the hops from the hop farm on the same morning as they are harvested and have them in the beer just after lunch so they are as fresh as we can possibly get them? A Dragon, and coincidentally it is the year of the Dragon. Hop Dragon is packful of freshly harvested green, fresh Riwaka hops from Eggers Hop Farm in Upper Moutere. Hop farmer Kem gets up super early and heads out in the dark to find the freshest, ripest Riwaka hops he can find, Once again he has made us all proud. Hop Dragon is a perfect balance of the fresh green hop character and a deliciously drinkable Hazy Fresh Hop IPA.
