Typical features of the 4 varieties in the blend - red current from Cabernet Sauvignon, blackberry from Merlot, plums and spices from Malbec and black jubes and musk from Petit Verdot. A firm structure of acid and tannin, very drinkable.

Long to finish with bright acidity and soft ripe tannins.

The Outpost is sourced from the Wetherall vineyards located in the heart of the Coonawarra wine region. This wine is intensely bright, floral and fragrant on the nose with lovely length on the palate. A perfectly balanced Cabernet, very worthy of its reputation.
