Cable Bay Vineyards is dedicated to producing handcrafted wines known for their elegance and depth. Taking an Old World approach and combining it with New World techniques, Cable Bay's vibrant wines are beautifully expressive of the sites upon which they were grown. This Syrah is made from grapes grown on naturally low yielding vines. It displays fragrant blue floral aromas and dark berries, and has much less black pepper notes than its Hawkes Bay counterparts. On the palate it is opulent and velvety in texture, full of seduction and is well poised, showing hints of rhubarb, dark cherry and cocoa beans. This wine is both intense and delicate with great concentration.

Camshorn Pinot Gris has hints of apricot and honeysuckle on the nose, leading to a rich, textural palate. The wine is medium-bodied, with ripe nectarines-and-cream stonefruit balanced by citrus. Enjoy this wine solo or pair with simply roasted chicken or seared firm fish. A meal with warm spice hints will also match well, such as a stir fry with ginger or 5-spice. Crumbly and tangy cheeses will be fantastic, with some sliced pear and walnuts alongside.

Camshorn, originally a Suffolk sheep farm, sits sheltered from prevailing winds by hills on both sides. The vineyard's clay and gravel soils, along with its sun-trap climate, are key to capturing concentrated flavours. Together with a range of clay and gravel soils, this sunny valley, sheltered from the prevailing winds, is the perfect setting for growing elegantly styled and concentrated Sauvignon Blanc.

Light golden hues and a satisfyingly fragrant bouquet, with a crisp, lively palate of dry, fruity peach and pear characters. Great aperitif.

Amber with streaks of brown gold. Intense with subtle hints of oak and dried fruit. Balanced with a characteristic taste of almonds and hints of liquorice.

This Chardonnay is a subtle mix of stone fruit, nectarine and white peach aromas, with hints of sweet ground almonds and toasted oak. The complex flavours on the palate are complimented by a full bodied structure, with a lees influence. The vanilla and primary fruit characters complement the well balanced natural acidity, leaving the wine with a long creamy vanilla finish.

Full of aromas of juicy dark cherry and black plum that lead to a velvety smooth finish with flavours of dark fruit and nuances of raspberry and plum.

A medium bodied red wine, silky texture and fine tannins. The palate is full of red fruits, plum and black cherry.

This Pinot Gris is in great balance with a core of ripe fruit, supported by soft acidity that carries the wine to a long finish. Aromatically, the wine displays subtle nectarine, white peach, with a touch of spice from neutral oak. The palate is generous from time on lees, but juicy and crisp around the edges.

A vibrant nose of florals, dark cherry and spice notes. The palate reveals dark cherry fruits combining with blueberries and mulberry notes. It has a lovely textured palate with a lingering finish with spice notes and cocoa. Pair with ricotta and spinach cannelloni.

Drappier is all about natural authenticity using low sulphur, low dosage and organic practices at the vineyard. One of the last family owned champagne houses who still work the land and make their own wines. High in Pinot Noir content (75%), yum, which makes it rich, fleshy, powerful, complex and full of finesse.
